AirPods repair in Amsterdam starts at Blue Apple with an honest distinction. The earbuds themselves are not made to be opened: the battery in the stem is the size of a grain of rice and fully potted, so buds whose playing time keeps dropping cannot realistically be restored. We would rather say that before you commission a repair. The charging case is another matter. There is a real battery in there, and a case that no longer tops up your buds, or no longer charges itself, can often be fixed.
The problem we solve most often is not a fault at all: dirt. Earwax, lint and skin oil build up in the charging contacts of the case and on the contacts of the buds, and then one bud stops topping up or charging stops altogether. That is cleaning. Beyond that we deal with moisture damage inside the case and look at its charging port. AirPods Max is modular: we replace ear cushions, the headband, the battery and the charging port for the fixed price on the model page, for Lightning and USB-C. Bring the case and both buds, even if only one has stopped working. Diagnosis is free.

Can you replace the battery in my AirPods?
Not in the earbuds. That battery is fully potted and the stem is not made to be opened. The charging case does have a real battery, and that is often doable. On AirPods Max the battery is a separate part; the fixed price is on the model page.
One of my buds no longer charges.
Start with the case rather than the bud. The charging contacts fill up with earwax, lint and skin oil, and then one bud stops making contact. Cleaning solves that in many cases. Bring the case and both buds and we will test which of the three it is.
My charging case will not charge itself.
That is usually the charging port or the case battery, and both can be looked at. Try another cable first. Bring the case in, we measure it out for free, and you hear what it costs before we do anything.
Do you also repair AirPods Max?
Yes, Lightning and USB-C. Ear cushions, headband, battery and charging port are separate parts. We swap the ear cushions in about 15 minutes. The fixed price is on the model page, including VAT and labour.
