A GoPro that films through a haze, takes on water, or no longer lasts a full outing is usually a part, not a new camera. Blue Apple in Amsterdam repairs HERO and MAX: lens glass, waterproof door, screen, battery and charging port at a fixed price.
On most HERO models the front glass is a separate part from the lens, which is why a scratched dome is a modest repair. Water where it should not be is almost always the door seal. MAX has two lenses, so one hazy side is often one glass. You see the price for your model before we open anything.

What we see on the workbench, explained without the jargon.
Usually not. On most HERO models the front glass is its own replaceable part: the camera keeps its lens and sensor. After the free diagnosis you know whether the damage stopped at the glass.
That is nearly always the door: the seal hardens, or grit sits in the groove. We replace the door and the seal and pressure-check it. A camera that sat wet for days is a different job, and we say so if the board is the real problem.
Yes. MAX has two lenses, so the repair list is the same idea — glass, door, screen, battery — applied to both sides of the camera.
