We will not take your phone in only to call you a week later to say the part is nowhere to be found. So call or email us the model in advance and we will look up what is available, what it costs and how quickly it can be here. Once you know that, you can decide for yourself whether to wait, and that is a fairer conversation than one held while your phone is already with us. And with a brand no longer sold here, the choice between repairing and replacing really is a choice. With a battery or charging port, repairing is almost always sensible. With an expensive screen in an older handset, we will simply work the sums through with you.

Our workshop is on Rijnstraat 76-H in the Rivierenbuurt, walking distance from Amsterdam RAI station and close to the Zuidas, De Pijp and Oud-Zuid. Call ahead with your model so you know whether the part is ready before you make the trip. Collection and return, or insured post, are both fine too.

For the P and Mate models, almost always, because we can get the common parts for those. For less common or very old devices it depends on what is still available. Call us with your model and you will know before you come in rather than after.

How long does it take?

If the part is in stock, a screen or battery is usually about 30 minutes while you wait. If we have to order the part, you hear in advance how many days that adds, so you can choose for yourself whether to wait for it.

Why are Huawei parts harder to get?

Because no new Huawei phones have been sold here for years, the parts supply has thinned out compared with brands still on the shelves. For the well-known models that is manageable; for the rest it takes some hunting. That is why we ask you to call first.

Will my data be preserved?

Yes, a screen, battery or charging port repair does not touch your storage. Do make a backup first anyway, simply because that is sensible with any device that is being opened.

Is there a warranty?

There is a lifetime warranty on the part we fit, even for a brand no longer sold here. The price we agree up front stands and nothing is added afterwards.
