Replacing the back glass on your iPhone 13 Pro Max
A cracked back is more than a cosmetic flaw. The shards cut your fingers, moisture and dust get in along the cracks, and a large crack can make wireless charging and MagSafe unreliable. Waiting rarely helps: glass that has cracked keeps splintering.
On the iPhone 13 Pro Max the back glass is bonded to the frame with strong adhesive. We remove it piece by piece with heat and controlled pressure, clean the frame and fit new glass. The camera ring and the wireless charging coil stay in place throughout.
What we check after the repair
- Wireless charging and MagSafe, so your phone charges on the charger again as normal.
- The cameras and the flash, because they sit right next to the glass.
- That the phone closes tightly again, with no gaps along the edge.
If only the small glass over a camera lens has cracked, that is a smaller, separate repair. Mention it when you come in and we will see what you actually need.
