Autel EVO drone repair in Amsterdam: Lite+, Nano+ and EVO II

A gimbal error, a crashed arm or a battery that gives up early: what usually breaks on an Autel EVO drone and what can be repaired before you replace it.

Autel EVO drone repair in Amsterdam: Lite+, Nano+ and EVO II

Autel EVO drones are a serious alternative to the better-known brands, with good cameras and a loyal following. When one crashes or wears out, the repair questions are the same as for any drone, with one extra: whether the part can be sourced. That is something we check before we agree anything.

Blue Apple repairs Autel drones at Rijnstraat 76-H in Amsterdam. Every model has its own page with the repairs we offer for it: start at the Autel repair page.

What usually goes wrong with Autel drones

  • Gimbal and camera faults. A gimbal that shakes or reports an error, or a picture that is suddenly soft after a rough landing. The gimbal motors and the flat cable behind the camera are the most delicate parts.
  • Propellers, motors and arms. Bent propellers cause vibration, and a crash can crack an arm or damage a motor. A drone that pulls to one side after a hit should not be flown again.
  • Battery trouble. Flight batteries lose capacity with age. One that swells, runs hot or drops quickly in the air should be retired.
  • Compass and GPS errors. Calibration messages that keep returning or a drone that drifts in hover point at a sensor that was disturbed by a knock, or by flying close to metal.
  • Charging port and controller faults. A worn port on the drone or the controller, or sticks that drift on the controller.

The Autel models we repair

Every model below has its own page, with the repairs we offer for it and what each one costs.

Autel EVO Lite+, Autel EVO Lite, Autel EVO Nano+, Autel EVO Nano, Autel EVO II Pro V3.

Repair or replace?

A repair usually makes sense for a drone that cost real money: a gimbal, battery or set of propellers is far cheaper than a new Autel. Replacing is more sensible for an older entry-level model with several faults at once. Because Autel parts are not as widely stocked as DJI parts, we check availability first and tell you what is realistic.

Looking after your drone

  • Calibrate the compass at a new location. Away from metal and vehicles, before the first flight.
  • Check the propellers each flight. Hairline cracks and chips mean replacement, as a set.
  • Store the batteries partly charged. Neither full nor empty, cool and dry.
