The newest Galaxy S phones are big, bright and expensive, and they are mostly repaired for the reasons any large glass phone is: a fall, a crack, a water accident. At this age the battery is not the issue yet, and warranty and insurance still deserve a look before you book.
Blue Apple repairs the Galaxy S26 and S25 phones at Rijnstraat 76-H in Amsterdam. Each model has its own page with the repairs we offer for it: start at the Samsung repair page.
What is different about the Galaxy S26 and S25 series
- Ultra with the S Pen. The Ultra models carry the S Pen in the body, with a flat screen and a titanium frame on the recent ones. The Ultra display is the largest and the most costly part of the phone.
- The S25 Edge is very thin. The Edge is built as a thin phone. A thin body gives less room for impacts, and we look at it by its own model page.
- Fingerprint sensor under the screen. The fingerprint sensor sits under the display, so the quality of a replacement screen decides how well it reads.
- USB-C and water resistance. They charge over USB-C and are rated water and dust resistant, a rating that weakens after a drop or an earlier repair.
What usually goes wrong with the Galaxy S26 and S25
- Cracked screen. The big flat or slightly curved glass breaks on corner drops. A cracked screen can still work, but dust and moisture get in, so a repair is best done soon.
- Green or pink line on the display. A vertical coloured line that appears on its own is usually the OLED panel failing, not the glass. Only a new display fixes it.
- Cracked back glass. The glass back breaks on the same falls as the front.
- Battery or charging faults. Rare at this age. A phone that heats up or charges slowly may have a port full of lint, a cable at fault or a battery that is failing early.
- Water damage. Water resistant is not waterproof. A phone that has been in water should be switched off and looked at straight away.

Repair or replace?
Repairing is nearly always better than replacing on a phone this new: the cost of a screen or back glass is a fraction of the price of an Ultra. If the phone is still under warranty or covered by insurance, use that for what it covers. After the diagnosis we tell you what the repair costs.
Looking after your Galaxy
- Use a case with a raised edge. It protects the glass in a flat fall.
- Keep it out of the sun on the dashboard. Heat damages the battery and the screen.
- Put a protector on the camera glass. Cameras on the Ultra stand proud and scratch easily.
