OneKey repair in Amsterdam: Classic 1S and Pro

A OneKey Classic 1S or Pro that will not charge, connect or show anything: what usually fails on these compact wallets and what a repair can and cannot do.

OneKey repair in Amsterdam: Classic 1S and Pro

OneKey wallets are compact devices with a screen, a battery and a charging port, made to live in a pocket or a bag. That is also where they get damaged. The faults are the usual ones for a small battery-powered gadget, and the keys inside are separate from all of them.

Blue Apple repairs OneKey hardware wallets at Rijnstraat 76-H in Amsterdam. Every model has its own page with the repairs we offer for it: start at the OneKey repair page.

What usually goes wrong with OneKey hardware wallets

  • Charging port worn or loose. A wallet that only charges at an angle, or not at all, has a port coming away from the board.
  • Battery that no longer holds a charge. A small lithium battery that has been empty for months, or simply old, gives only a few minutes of use or none.
  • Screen with lines, missing pixels or nothing. Usually after a drop or pressure from keys and coins in a bag.
  • Buttons or touch that do not respond. Worn buttons, or a touch panel that misses taps, make it hard or impossible to confirm anything.
  • Water or moisture damage. A pocket in the rain is enough to start corrosion on the board.

The OneKey models we repair

Every model below has its own page, with the repairs we offer for it and what each one costs.

OneKey Pro, OneKey Classic 1S.

Repair or replace?

If you still have your recovery phrase, a new device and a restore is usually quicker than a repair. A repair is worthwhile when you do not have it and the device is your only way in. We never need your phrase for a hardware repair and we cannot recover keys that are gone, and we say so before you pay.

Looking after your OneKey

  • Keep the recovery phrase offline. Never photograph it or type it into a website, and never give it to anyone who asks.
  • Protect the screen in a bag. A small pouch keeps keys and coins away from the display.
  • Charge it from time to time. A battery left flat for months is the one most likely to fail.

How a repair works at Blue Apple

Open your model on the OneKey repair page, choose the repair and you see the price straight away. You can bring it to our workshop at Rijnstraat 76-H in Amsterdam, have it collected (pickup and delivery) or send it by post. If your fault is not in the list, the custom repair form lets you describe it, and we come back with a price before any work starts.

Do you need my recovery phrase?
